Concept

Our aim is to feature the content on Dubai Bank’s Web pages in such a way that every user can easily access the information he or she is looking for.

The design of our Web pages complies with the guidelines of the W3C consortium [World Wide Web Consortium]. The Consortium aims to create standards for the design of Web pages based on standardized guidelines [WCAG - Web Content Accessibility Guidelines].

We have built our website according to set rules and standards that ensure standard levels of user-friendliness. We also continuously monitor our standards and adapt them to changing demands based on our users comments.

The website’s tools and functions

1) Font size
Visitors can choose the font size that best enables them to read the content. There are two ways of changing the font size - Use the “A” buttons at the upper right side of the page for controls.

2) Description of links

ALT Tags in graphics - All of our images have been given ALT Tags that describe the respective image. This allows persons with physical and/or technical limitations to collect the information provided by the image.

3) To change the size of the window

You can view the website in the Full screen mode. Click 'View' then 'Full Screen' from the toolbar, or press F11.

There are other options to tailor web pages that help make them easier to read. These may be found under the 'Tools' menu:

Click on 'Internet Options'
Select the 'Advanced' tab
Choose from the options available to improve visibility.
